Assessment Lesson

Wherever possible we like to conduct an assessment driving lesson several weeks before running an intensive driving course as this gives us a chance to see your driving ability and learning style before planning an intensive driving course that will help you achieve the high standard that is required to pass and remain a safe driver for life.

It will also give you confidence in our driving instructor's ability to help you through what can be a very stressful course. You also have the option of backing out if you don't think it is for you.

You can do this lesson before you take your driving theory test, but remember we cannot book your practical driving test until you have passed your driving theory test.

The assessment lesson is 1.5 hours and costs £30.

We make it simple for you to pay with several options to suit you. We accept cash and/or cheque (with a cheque guarantee card) direct to the instructor, Important Please Read.

The instructor holds the right to refuse you taking the test in their car if you haven't reached test standard with in the course. We'll do all we can to make sure you're well prepared for the test, but the instructors decision is final.  We have to consider public safety, safety of the examiner as well as the care of the vehicle. If it's necessary for you have additional hours of in car training then you will be informed by your instructor and the cost involved.  It's very rare an instructor refuses a pupil his or her car but because of circumstances beyond our control it can happen
